The methodHow the practice is built
- Retrieval practice. Progress comes only from recalling answers — opening the app or watching earns nothing. Effortful recall is what builds memory.
- Spaced repetition. Each concept returns on an expanding schedule — 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, then 60 days. A miss brings it back the next day.
- Interleaving. New skills mix with due reviews and related topics rather than massing in blocks, which strengthens flexible recall.
- Recognition to production. Early on your child picks the answer; as mastery grows, they produce it from memory.
- Adaptive difficulty. Each topic tunes toward an 80–90% success band — hard enough to stretch, not so hard it discourages.
- Informative feedback. A wrong answer shows why the right one is right, with visual models — ten-frames, place value, equal groups, area grids.
Why it worksWhat your child gets
- Durable memory, not cramming. Spacing and retrieval are the two most evidence-backed techniques in learning science.
- Progress you can see. XP earned from every session stacks directly into levels — no hidden formula, just consistent practice rewarded.
- A low-friction daily habit. A few focused minutes a day, with the schedule doing the remembering for you.
